Summer Selections - Numéro Un

OK, so if you're used to hearing house from me you might be a little confused when you hear this, so I feel I should explain myself...

This started out as a 30-minute mixtape for a blog's mix series. I wanted to do a mix of all the tunes I love to listen to around this time of year, what I feel to be the best feel-good summer jams. However, due to the 30-minute time frame, there were a lot of tunes that didn't make the cut for the mix but that I still really wanted to include, so I decided to turn it into a series of my own. And thus, the Summer Selections Series was born.

This is part one of the series. I'm aiming to do at least three before the summer is over. I hope you enjoy them.
