I participated in National Solo Album Month (nasoalmo.org) and here's what I came up with in 20 days! I used field recordings and song notes on my iPhone and sprinkled in some synth and drum machine, ranging from minimal ambient soundscapes to lo-fi jungle bangers and psychedelia. This is an experiment in process and output over perfection. Sometimes special moments happen when we don't overthink things. I approached this like a dj set, trying to create atmosphere and space while changing things up about the time you've spaced out. I think it's interesting how timbres and harmonics in somewhat random sample loops begin to "sing" after multiple listenings. I'd love to hear if your first impression is different than you third or fourth.
