This weeks show is a tad different in that I've now got a good quality mic! so an intro from me. :-)
Soul music really is my main stay musically, but like all good collectors your tastes grow. I've got back into Fela Kuti this year so 3 tracks from him, a Jazz classic from Miles, next is now a Classic but was unreleased until a few years back from my favorite dirty old Jazzer 'Tubby Hayes Quartet', out on Fontana Records. Tullio de Piscopo has crossed over so many music scenes, always sounds fresh. Charlie Palmieri gives us our Title track, manic doesn't come close! Starvue & Roy Ayres give us an injection of Soul. Sunmonx & Salt Tank come under the soundscape genre I think? Ending with The Tyrrel Corporation 'Freedom', such a great group but never really made it as big as they should, that said their records are everywhere!
We finish with 5ts Rocker 'Dale Hawkins' unreleased 'The Hawk Walks' !
