Cracking start to this week's Mix, Joe Haywood & Jerry Towns literally rip it up! followed by Herbert Hunter's best 45's for the SPAR Label. The Skyliners track is a very good unreleased acetate from 1967. Little Soul is a brilliant and very rare R&B Banger, followed in the same vein by Little Willie John's 'Home at Last' which came out via Kent. Jax Transit Authority is the stand out 45 in a sense as its allot newer than anything else, it's a groovy track! Joe King acetate was owned by me until 2014, think that acetate has been sold again since, came directly from Label Owner Clem Price. Changing Times do one of 3 versions of the Imperial Wonders classic, Carl Sims is an alt version to Barbara Brown (MGM) & The Implements is the flip side to 'Look over your Shoulder' their very in demand 'Philips' 45. Bobby Mandolph is a class slowie out of LA and Bessie Banks has finished so many sessions I'm sure with the utterly Brilliant 'Go Now'.
