“Going Down” is my first mixtape ever, recorded somewhere between 2003 - 2004, while I was studying at the Technological University of Serres. Back then I was radio producer of Rodon Fm 95 and I was buying my CDs and vinyls mostly from Noise record shop, Stereodisc and Lotus in Thessaloniki, with the money I was earning - mainly - from my DJ sets at Sugar Club. Combining some music through Audiogalaxy file sharing platform (ok, that was “illegal” I know) and some CDs that I was borrowing from my good friend and co founder of Rodon Fm Michalis Emmanouilidis (http://stereonova.blogspot.gr/). As for the mixture, “Going Down” is a down tempo compilation of basically melancholic tracks, that I mixed with a cheap audio mixer by TELE, a compact disc player by Sony and my mom’s old polish turntable. Nothing professional indeed. Hope you like it!
