#051 - There are a number of perceptual changes that can accompany AR53 induced Persisting Perception Disorder. Typical symptoms of the disorder include: halos or auras surrounding speakers, trails following sinewaves in motion, difficulty distinguishing between time signatures, apparent shifts in the pitch of a given sound, the illusion of movement in a static setting, air assuming a grainy or textured quality (aural snow or static, by popular description, not to be confused with normal "blue field entoptic phenomenon"), distortions in the temporal dimensions of a perceived sound, and a heightened awareness of tome tunes & bonkers compositions. The aural alterations experienced by those tuned in to AR53 are not homogeneous and there appear to be individual differences in both the number and intensity of symptoms.
