What’s so funny about this? OK, OK, so the first thing that you might be thinking is “wait a minute, doesn’t have an octopus have eight LEGS rather than arms? Liniguistically that might be true, but it’s all relative, isn’t it? What an octopus has is eight APPENDAGES which we could call arms or legs. Different animals have different numbers of appendages, or body parts which stick out and are flexible. Octopi (plural) and spiders have eight. Insects have six, humans, four and millipedes, if we can believe the name, a thousand. In the cartoon we see a pretty winter scene. There’s lots of snow on the ground, a partially snow-covered, brown, picket fence and an octopus, hanging out on the fence. Oh, and did I mention that there is a medieval knight in full battle armor with a sword, standing next to the octopus.? Unless he has a heater in the armor, I’ll bet it’s awfully cold in there.
