I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom, until they're flashing behind you.

What’s so funny about this? Have you ever been pulled over by the police? It can be a pretty humiliating experience. My wife is a big fan of the TV show “Cops”, and this is the main thing that happens on the show. People are pulled over for minor infractions such as not stopping for a stop sign, having a broken tail light, etc. Invariably, it turns out that they’re either drug dealers, stone junkies, have a bunch of felony warrants, or the car is stolen. They never seem to have licenses, registrations, or proof of insurance. These are the incidents that are broadcast on the show. I’m sure they edit out all the legitimate folks who have their id’s and just didn’t know their signal light wasn’t working. After all, how boring would that be? No one wants to watch that.
