What’s so funny about this? There seem to be two themes that will almost guarantee a ton of “likes” on various social media. One is pets and the other is zombies. I probably should have made this joke about zombie kittens instead of bees but I’m saving that one for a slow day. Anyway we have a standard “knock, knock” joke here. Remember these are really riddles and you’re not really supposed to know the answer. The whole idea is for the person asking the joke to crack you up, that is, make you laugh, when she or he reveals the answer. And I must admit, I totally fell for this one. I really did not see it coming. It’s a very clever near-homophone, based on syllables rather than whole words. By now you certainly know what zombies are.
