SELF OWN

What’s so funny about this? Who would or could have predicted that the second most popular feature of cell or mobile phones would be cameras? To me that’s an even bigger revolution than the cell phone itself. I suppose both are natural technological progressions but it was genius to combine the two. People are social. We are evolved to talk and to see. Our two favorite subjects are ourselves and others. It’s all about us. We want to see what others are doing and we want others to see what we are doing and we want to talk about all of this stuff. So a “selfie” is the natural outgrowth of all of this. A selfie is nothing more than a picture of yourself. Kim Kardashian, one of these people who is famous for nothing other than being famous, just published a book called “Selfish” which has something like 600 selfies. Who could possibly care?
