If you take a laptop computer for a run you could jog your memory.

What’s so funny about this? I was originally going to show a human being running with a laptop, but then I thought it would be funnier to animate the computer by giving it human legs and the ability to speak, at least in cartoon speech balloons. It does remind me of Old Gold cigarettes, a brand long gone. The manufacturer was Lollilard Tobacco Company which also made Kents (with the micronite filter) and Newports among others. But Old Golds were cool, because they had a very early television commercial with dancing cigarette packs, or actually, two enormous packs, one regular, the other king size, with gorgeous dancing legs. Later a third pack of filter cigs was added. And that’s why I appropriated the idea for a joke 50+ years after these ads were aired on US Television. So we see a woman watching a laptop run down the street. Clearly the lap top is jogging and I’m sure you already know what that means (running). T
