What’s so funny about this? I must be on some kind of instrumental jag, or obsession because of all the music related jokes I’ve done lately. I guess it’s my subconscious working things out, whatever that means. Today’s joke comes from the same guy who sent in the joke about the fake musicians in some-phony orchestra. So maybe HE’s the one on a musical jag and I’m just tagging along for the ride. Today’s joke is also about a bunch of string players who have issues. A “string player” is anyone who plays a string instrument, including violin, viola, bass violin, guitar, mandolin, ukulele and OK, I’ll admit it, even a banjo. Orchestras tend to only have the first three in their string sections. A guitar and mandolin are not usual members of an orchestra unless they are playing a piece written for guitar or mandolin.
