What’s so funny about this? I admit this is a silly little joke and doesn’t require much explanation. However it was very easy to illustrate and I confess that putting together the cartoons I use for this podcast is one of the things I enjoy the most about it. Since I don’t write many of the jokes, it’s my chance to add my own creative two cents to the whole deal and even enhance it sometimes. Of course, I really wish I could actually draw, but that wasn’t in the cards for me when I was born. Anyway, in the cartoon we have a young woman wearing a large warm parka standing in a park or field or just some barren wintry land. It’s 90 degrees Fahrenheit here in New York BTW, so just thinking and writing about winter and ice helps me to cool off. She’s standing, with her pet polar bear cub, next to her ice house, or igloo. She tells us that when, and I suppose if, the house starts falling apart, “igloo” it back together. Now this is far from a perfect homophone. But it still counts as a dec
