What’s so funny about this? This joke is heavier than it might appear. I’d like to begin by apologizing to any of you out there who might be offended. There is plenty here to offend, believers and non-believers alike. Nevertheless, despite having doubts upon hearing it, I found it irresistible because I’m a total sucker for word play. So let’s define the three long terms in the joke and then it might become clear. First of all a dyslexic is a person who has dyslexia. This is a learning disability in the cognitive functions of the brain. It effects both your spatial abilities as well as your verbal and mathematical skills.
