What’s so funny about this? What exactly is a cleaning agent? You think it might be a hit man for the FBI - some federal agent whose job it is to “mop up” the evidence after someone’s been assassinated? Obviously, “clean” has a lot of metaphoric possibilities. And, of course, a cleanser is another name for a substance or chemical you use to clean with, such as soap, or detergent, or bleach, or ammonia. Then there was my old girlfriend who’d get down and dirty and I’d have to cleanser. But that’s another joke for another time. Today’s joke is really all about panda bears, those loveable giant rodents from China, who aren’t even bears. They must bear some relationship to raccoons who also have the same kind of eye mask markings as Pandas have. The word “panda” begins the same as another word which happens to mean “chaos”. That word is “pandemonium” Because the second vowel E is unstressed it’s the same schwa sound as the second A in Panda. So it’s real easy to create the word “pandamoniu
