The Ones That Very Nearly Got Away vol 1 (2005) - CD2

Back in 2005 I created a compilation double CD, for my own and my family's enjoyment, of obscure true Soul sounds that I had managed to buy or unearth from various internet sites (that still existed then!).
I gave it the snazzy title of 'The Ones That Very Nearly Got Away' (or T.O.T.V.N.G.A.for short).
As you can see from the pic it was the 23rd CD I had created by then.

I had heard/recorded them from radio shows by Robbie Vincent, Jeff Young, Greg Edwards and Andy Peebles.
In the end I issued 3 volumes by 2006, then changed the name of the next one to 'Elusive Soul Classics', which others said sounded better!

I finally uploaded this to YT in 2017, but after just 47 plays it was blocked, so here it is on Mixcloud.
