Spring 2025 Dance Mix

This mix was made last year while preparing for a night but I never implemented it on the night. It is just too serious, moody and underground and my local town would just hate it I think, or just feel confused and go home. Maybe one day I will be brave enough to go this style in a small provincial town and sod the consequences. The first track, by Andy Weatherall, is a little incongruous but I have been loving it and decided to give it a home here anyway. I love My Bloody Valentine too and they deserve some airtime, particularly in a dance context. The mix gets increasingly uppy as it goes on, but not offensively so. I like the deeper edge towards the end, and intend on doing some more stuff like this soon, under a tech-house banner and moving between about 124 and 128. I will need to find the correct audience however.
