We are going dancing!

“Stroboscope” is my latest mix - for that part of the night when everything is still ahead of you. The lights are down, the room is filling, people are arriving, drinks are landing on tables and the dancefloor is just starting to move.

This is the soundtrack for getting ready, meeting friends, heading into town, starting a house party or warming up before somewhere bigger. Disco house with energy, soul and plenty of vocals, but without rushing straight to the peak.

That is what I always loved about the early hours in clubs. You do not need the biggest record immediately. You need rhythm, anticipation and a groove that slowly pulls people in. A bassline here, a vocal there, a flash of strobe, then suddenly everyone is dancing.
