#039

And we’re back! It’s too late for Happy New Years, though I do still wish them. It’s been over a month since my last episode and in that time every publication worth it’s salt has been banging on about it’s bright hopes for 2013. It’s made #039 both easy and difficult to compile. Paradoxical, yo!

It’s funny, as I was putting together the running order for this, The Strokes dropped a new single, so I purposely didn’t listen to it, even going so far as turning off the radio, so the recording you hear is actually the first time I heard One Way Trigger. And seeing as I’m writing this before I record, who knows what it’s going to sound like!

Aside from that, we’ve got a couple of new bandings that have floated my boat, a couple of tracks from one of my favourite albums from 2012 that I sadly only cottoned on to in 2013. Anyway, enough. Onwards.
