We examine the brain, its inner workings and how advertising is using brain research to craft messages and images.

In the first half, we speak to Dr. Norman Doidge, author of the book, The Brain’s Way of Healing. His book discusses the concept of the brain’s ability to change its own structure and functioning. The brain even has capacity to cure conditions considered incurable. Truly cutting edge!

In the second half, we speak to Kevin Keane, co-founder of the Brainsights, a Toronto-based company that is part of the growing trend toward “neuromarketing”. Keane discusses how Brainsights helps other companies in developing advertising that is effective and that resonates with the public by using new scientific approaches.
