i've grown a bit weary of mixing dnb lately but when i saw your tracklist i recognized the first 3 trax and was looking fwd to hearing how you used them, glad i did man.. really like the variety of subgenres of dnb in this mix and the way you built it... your experience, skill and professionalism is apparent here... respect!
Thanks Carmont ... I went to quite a few big DnB raves back in the 90's with my younger sister as that was her thing (i was a Techno Head) but i always got VIP tickets to these parties so used to loved going with her and jumping about all night. Always loved the deeper stuff Photek, LTJ Bukem etc but always had a healthy stack of DnB vinyl sitting in my collection. I dropped a set last month with my mate from London who is DnB head through and through and he was telling me how good a set i played so i thought sod it ... let's record one .... and i thoroughly enjoyed it :) Thanks for the listen. Kinda freestyle as i don;t know the tracks that well ... all i know is i loved the tunes i put in the mix.
