Something a little different from me! Over the past few months, I've been listening to and purchasing a significant number of Sven Wegner's productions. His sound is truly unique and so refreshing in today's world of monotonous, generic releases. It was so refreshing, in fact, that I just had to dedicate an entire one-hour mix to his music.
His productions offer a distinct blend of playful, cordial grooves with perfectly dosed funky influences and signature cut-up vocals, which remind me of the intricate, sample-heavy work found on albums like The Avalanches' "Since I Left You."
