Deconstructions

In crafting this new mix, I revisited my underground warehouse roots to put together a peak-time, high-energy techno journey. Clocking in at a slow and mellow 127 BPM, the mix maintains a melodic feel while allowing space for dynamic shifts across its runtime. The track selection spans the last 14 years of releases. I aimed to sequence the mix for a nice flow, arranging tracks to build tension and release across subtle (or not) breakdowns and drops. The mix culminates in a lush, euphoric trance cut to provide a temporary reprieve before returning to the unrelenting assault that is all of reality and the outside world right now. My hope is that, this mix captures the dark, hypnotic energy of the early parts of a warehouse party.
