I Can't Wait to Go Up Mashup (Nu Shooz & Mr Vegas)

ABIGTUNE takes the unmistakable 1986 electro-pop bounce of Nu Shooz’s “I Can’t Wait” and sends it straight into the heat of Mr. Vegas’ “Go Up.” What starts with that beautifully familiar, rubbery 80s groove gradually gets pulled somewhere else — bass gets heavier, the temperature rises and dancehall begins pushing its way through the cracks.

Rather than a quick mash-up, this is a proper extended ABIGTUNE workout — nearly 23 minutes of the two tracks being stretched, teased and knocked against each other. Vocals appear and disappear, rhythms trade places and the whole thing keeps shifting between polished 80s boogie and Jamaican soundsystem pressure.
