This mix was originally intended to carry on the darker themes of the original Void Core show, slightly more cohesive in tone and music selection but with plenty of weird and quiet moments. The storytelling concept revolved around our modern dependence on, exploitation by, and fear of technology as well as surreal stuff here and there with a journey into musical oblivion because why not. It went through many revisions off and on over a year and a half with all kinds of weird ideas mixed in, I'm still not sure I'm totally happy with penultimate buildup but I liked the overall result. the ending theme to Rainworld with actual USAF Emergency Action Messages AKA "Sky King" alerts I recorded off of shortwave which would have played over some kinda MIRV/Missile scene. Akira, Felix Colgrave, 6 days in Entebbe, Annihilation, Halo 4, and a few odds and ends.
