LGA2NAP 🇮🇹 The name of the restaurant is ……. wait for it ……….. 'O Zì Don ‼️ 🇮🇹 Crazy isn’t it? In Neapolitan and neighboring Southern Italian dialects, 'O Zì Don literally translates to "The Uncle Don" . I wouldn’t say legend status ……. 🤔 well 🤔 maybe high honors, although I like the idea 😂 The Maitre di sala (as a goof) when taking us to our table on our first night at the joint, said and I quote “Vieni appriesso a me, bucchina." 😂

That translates to “follow me bitch”

PLATO’S RETREAT - The chic, sultry background vocals that give the track its iconic disco atmosphere were performed by a powerhouse group of New York session singers: Jocelyn Brown (Real Name: Jocelyn Lorette Brown) - Gwen Guthrie (Real Name: Gwendolyn Guthrie) Origin: Born in Newark, New Jersey - Diva Gray (Real Name: Diva Gray) - Gordon Grody (Real Name: Gordon Grody) Origin: Born in New York - Annie Sutton (Real Name: Ann Sutton) Origin: Born in New York, New York, US (Also known for her work with the disco group The Fast).

It became a massive hit staple in nightclubs and on Urban Contemporary radio formats. Music historians frequently cite it alongside other era-defining tracks as the absolute pinnacle of disco's synthesis of hedonism, movement, and explicit sexual liberation.

OPENING WITH MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ‼️ 🧨 🧨 🧨 🧨 🧨 Oh my GOD!!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The 1978 jazz-disco hit "Plato's Retreat" by flautist and saxophonist Joe Thomas featured an elite group of New York session musicians, vocalists, and arrangers. The track was all about the sex discotheque in NYC by the same name.

Don’t start thinking you can outdo yourself on the next show, Oh my GOD!!!!! while I typing I hear my girl, BRONX native, Evelyn “Champagne” King, miss bubbles herself.

Know what I’m gonna do now? Start it over 😮

A landmark show - I give it a 5-stick rating (I made this system up myself) 🧨 🧨 🧨 🧨 🧨

I ❤️ NY - I see we like to play in the bass lines 😂 I don’t blame you, after all it was a defining instrument of all of disco. On the iconic 1977 NYC LEGENDARY disco track "Everybody Dance" by Chic, the primary band members and studio musicians included: Nile Rodgers – Guitar Bernard Edwards – Bass guitar Tony Thompson – Drums Norma Jean Wright – Lead vocals Background Vocals The track is also famous for featuring a stellar lineup of session backing vocalists, including a then-unknown future superstar :Luther Vandross Diva Gray Robin Clark David Lasley

I ❤️ NY - There’s a lot to say about KLEEER, but I’ll leave it short. Kleeer was an American funk, disco, and post-disco band formed in New York City in 1972. Before officially adopting the name Kleeer in 1979, the four-piece group operated under several different aliases

Powerhouse Jam “Got To Have Lovin’” - the word POWER is right
