Classic Corsten

This was my entry in the r/trance producer showcase mix contest of April 2016, linked here: http://bit.ly/1TTsBCJ

I chose Ferry Corsten, and even though the rules allowed otherwise, I've only selected tracks that Ferry mixed or remixed, alone or with friends. Also unique about this set is that it's all classics from between '98 and '02, except the last track, as I wanted to showcase what I consider to be the true sound of Ferry Corsten, the "Classic Corsten Sound".

Many great classics are left out though, either because they didn't fit the style, I didn't have time for them or I just don't "feel" them personally. All tracks in this mix are the full, unedited versions.

I really wanted to include the Clear Blue Water remix but I couldn't make it fit properly.

The set is mixed harmonically at 137 to 139 BPM using mixing software (not mix programming software like Ableton), so it's recorded in one take the old fashioned way using mostly rips from my own vinyl records.
