Prince

The shock of Prince's untimely death was still with me when I was playing my usual Funk set in April. I quickly grabbed a load of tunes with the intention of playing a funky tribute which I knew the regulars would enjoy. I couldn't get hold of everything I was after, a lot of my collection is still on vinyl and many of his tunes are tough to get hold of digitally, but despite this I have assembled quite a hard funk/dance mix some of his vast catalogue of music, including some new ones as well as old. At the end of this set my computer crashed at a rather apt moment as you will here. A sad sad loss. A true musical genius who should have had more time with us.
