Eclecticism 06: electronic

Eclecticism 06: electronic

This is the third in a series of mixes for an art show (the sixth in the "eclecticism" series). All electronic, experimental in places, but not too hectic.

I think this year has been a great year for underground, alternative and electronic music with some inspiring albums from some of my personal favourite artists; Four Tet, Flying Lotus, Andy Stott and Daphni are all represented here, plus new discoveries for me, Nathan Fake and Holy Other.. I even squeezed in an unusually mellow, unreleased track by X-Amount. Thats all good then.

I particularly enjoyed putting this mix together, I hope you enjoy it too.

The artwork is a photograph taken at Pimlico Pumping Station in London.

Tracklist

Playing tracks by Four Tet, Nathan Fake, Floating Points, Daphni, Flying Lotus and more.

Thanks derglatzman, glad you enjoy them. What do you mean "assign the length of the mix to the individual songs"? They are all timestamped, and as far as I know the track listings are correct.. perhaps I made a mistake? Maybe you could let me know where the 'Miles 70th' track is and I could help? Thanks for your advice, it is appreciated.

Lovin all your mixes. There's only one sole thing which can still be refinded about them. If you could only take the time to assign the length of the mix to the individual songs. I would really appreciate that in case of your mixes. E.g. yesterday I listened to one where I unfortunately couldn't match some dope song which almost sounded like Miles 70th stuff to the mentioned artists.

Thanks a million
