Being a DJ, I spent my time focused on what the crowd wanted. A good DJ doesn’t just play good music—we’re there to move people. To read the room. To make them feel something.
But now that I’m older, I’ve started playing for myself. I just wanted to share the music I love, without worrying, “Will this track make people dance?”
A friend once told me, “Just mix the shit you love.”
