APP marks the coming together of two producers and musical minds. United by their love for electronic music, APP's roots are opposing musical backgrounds:
August Jakobsen grew up playing the guitar and piano, he went onto study Jazz at Trinity College of Music, was soon a member of and producing, a number of bands.
Peter Pixzel began his musical journey in Copenhagen as a DJ and his inquisitive mind led him to learn the art of production and create music under his own name. Later in London Peter began organising parties as one third of WYS! the seminal weekly Sunday party at fabric.
When August & Peter met at a party, it was the coming together of two extremes. It sparked an immediate connection and drove them to create and play music together.
App is house music with an organic twist.
