On this Groundhog Day we look to the stars with the news of a meteorite passing us by, though some doomsayer's believe it will impact. Other news stories include carjackers in North Carolina who tried to slow down their victims by placing a child-like dummy in the road, while in Australia police posted a traffic citation where the driver was fined even though he had a good excuse, and the Holmes Bakery in Los Angeles who have combined the French croissant with Japanese sushi, that is an acquired taste.
