Around this time I was getting heavily into US Hardcore.. Kraut, Bad Brains.. the Repo Man soundtrack. There was a comp. called 'God Bless America' that came out over here. That comp. got a fair amount of hammer. The key tracks for me on here though are The Deranged and The Stupids. That was the first time I had heard UK bands playing in the US style.

another great show. by 1985, i was a massive jamc fan, so jamc never understand song o the show for me. one of the first punk gigs i went to in dublin was the instigators, so great to hear a tune by them. also my cousin used to be the lead singer in my bloody valentine, originally from finglas in dublin, they only hit the big time when he left and they went noisy and got the two ladies singing up front. always remember their gig in mcgonagles dublin, the white noise from the stage was damaging!! rip mcgonagles, knocked down now, a ton of bands played there, wine spritzer bar only!! also the lead singer from dri used to live up a tree in san fran, with his cat, true story!!
