Inspired by twilight and water, 'Astraeus' is a calling to the God of Dusk and a dual sonic interpretation of a world whose gates are open for only a brief window of time. The elements are in array as we all try to find ourselves a place in the descending darkness. Using field and hydrophone recordings, vocal improvisations, time-stretching techniques and samples of Britain’s night birds.
