The concept of Infinite Zest is simple: an hour of live WHRC radio featuring a full uninterrupted album followed by my reading of a text by David Foster Wallace.
This week, however, I did not have an album prepared and was feeling/failing to feel a lot of things so decided to chat a little bit instead before reading. The passage is Tennis And The Feral Prodigy from Infinite Jest (I mistakenly said it was an essay written by Hal, when really the text is the transcript of a film he shot with his brother -- my bad!) and hopefully you won't mind that I let my emotions get the better of me at one point.
