Saigon Layover is an immersive downtempo sound journey by Visa Run Orchestra, moving through the many layers of Ho Chi Minh City.

From ancient waterways and the Chinese-Vietnamese streets of Chợ Lớn to faded Indochine, psychedelic echoes of 1960s Saigon, tropical rain, quiet canals and the Saigon River after dark.

The piece blends subtle Vietnamese and Chinese instrumentation with French-inspired harmonies, warm psychedelic soul, ambient electronics and cinematic textures, creating a varied but continuous journey through the city’s history, atmosphere and movement.
