An unintended but very clear theme of this mix is music crossing borders and boundaries. US legends Master At Work's rework of UK's Soul II Soul classic Back To Life, Steve Wonder's powerful cover of the Door's "Light My Fire", Scotland's finest Zero 7's masterful, haunting treatment of Mos Def's 'My Umi', Detroit's Andre raining fire with his Head over Heels remix and Rocco Rodamaal's African/French deep house versions of Moodymann/Louie Vega's instant classic 'Seven Mile'.
All accidental though - objective was to feel good to ears. Hope you enjoy!
