I've never been into Dubstep, ever since the first time I heard it. It didn't help that the only style you'd ever hear at parties was Brostep, though. Later on, I discovered, quite by accident, the first Dubstep artists I actually enjoyed! Magnetic Man and Katy B. How does one accidentally discover artists? Easy! Someone labeled the tracks as Drum'n'Bass! Since then, I've managed to scrape together another few tracks and artists I enjoy, such as the magnificent works of Haywyre! Seriously, the guy's a bloody prodigy!
Years ago, when asked when I would put out a Dubstep mix, I replied "I'd rather stick forks in my ears!"
So... Anyone got some forks I could borrow?
PS: This mix was created in FL Studio due to the fact that a lot of the tracks used aren't really made for DJing, seeing as how they start immediately into a breakdown or only have 30 seconds worth of intro. I felt it was more important to share good music than showcase my mixing skills.

I wish I could have seen the shame roll over you as you were collecting these tracks. Then having to publicly admit that you not only listened to several dubstep tracks but did a publicly displayed mix. I thought I somehow shifted into an alternate universe when you told me. Just think I mix this shit on cdjs live in front of people. I'm fuckin awesome. It's a goddamn disaster in wait but that's what gives me the thrill after I've finished a 5th of Jack.
