Yvonne's selection, entitled 'Making Waves' includes music by Katie Kim, PJ Harvey, ELLLL, Joanna Newsom, Bjork and Hilary Woods.
'Making Waves' is also the name of the upcoming listening party and celebration of women and music hosted by Art for Blind Records - with an all female line-up of selectors from across Sligo and Ireland's north-west's music community. From organiser Edel Doherty: "Love music, but never dj'd? Even better, bring some tunes, preferably a female artist or a band with female members and we'll help you play it."
