Technical [Text by Turf Projects]:
As you approach Turf Projects, and before you enter the main entrance doorway, the signage can be seen from outside of the gallery space designed for this draft show.
It is placed on the metal grid above the large exhibition window, which is split into five glass panes, and positioned to the left-hand side of the main entrance to Turf Projects.
The sign is the words ‘Technical – Adjacent’. The words are split across two lines, so that the first line reads tech-‘ and underneath ‘nical’ then a black dash followed by ‘Adja-‘ followed by ‘cent’ underneath that. The lettering is presented in upper case letters, on white acrylic with a black outline. The style of lettering is reminiscent of calligraphy which uses broad strokes. There are five draft artworks in the space.
