SoundSystem_01 (Liquid DnB Mix)

Welcome to SoundSystem! One of my 2025 goals is to spend time putting together mixes just to do them instead of only when I'm slotted to play some event or another. It’ll let me play around with tracks and genres that just don’t go great in those environments, as well as give me more no-pressure time behind the decks to actually enjoy the process rather than race towards a deadline. SoundSystem is going to be my (hopefully) recurring set mixes toward that end.

It’s been over a decade since I’ve made a Liquid mix. This is the genre that inspired me to get into this hobby and I really wanted to kick off this series by getting back to it. I learned a lot doing this mix. Some of it worked, some of it less so. But overall I had fun and I’m happy with the result.
