Leaving Mixcloud
This is just to advise that after the 6th of May, we will no longer be using Mixcloud as a streaming platform. This is due to the countless issues that Mixcloud just can't seem to ever fix, chat issues, viewer list issues, buffering issues with streams (especially my UK and overseas friends), the block user feature is a load of garbage and a complete joke as blocking someone means they can harass you elsewhere else on this platform so basically, it's time to move somewhere where the platform actually cares about the streamers and viewer experiences. With that all being said, I have met a LOT of awesome people on Mixcloud on my short tenure as a presenter on this platform and don't take any of it for granted.... I want to thank all of you, the people who take the time to listen, even for a few mins when they can and have supported our channel here over the past 8 months. We will be streaming to Twitch and Kick exclusively, have been for a bit but once the PRO subscription runs out our time here will be done. I will still be here as a listener but not as a presenter. I hope some of you will follow me there but if not I completely understand. The links to my streams are below and please be kind to each other, the world is so full of hate we need each other more than ever and what better way to get through it is with, thats right, the music..... Good luck on purple streaming service! Twitch is tough, there is zero organic marketing for music streamers so IMHO it's harder to grow your following there. I started on Twitch but I didn't want to monetize and came to MC instead. I know you are a devoted music lover and you have a great personality for it, so I'm 100% convinced you will find success there!
Thank you for that, I'm not actually looking to grow on Twitch at all if I am being truthful, just a place for my existing follower base to be able to still listen if they choose to.
I'm bummed to read this but also totally understand your frustration, Paul. 🥲 I already follow you on Twitch so I know we will stay connected! Will be interested to learn more about your experience with Kick.
Thanks Sharon, for most presenters the issues are a non-issue because they stream for 2-8 hrs a week , but because I stream 40hrs+ a week, I see all of the issues, so it affects me a lot more.
Sorry to hear you are leaving this platform my friend but understand. I’ve been on here 5 years so I’m too invested to switch over and my laptop is too old to support multi streaming. I’ll check you out on the other side and best of luck 🤞

Im sorry to see you leaving MC but I can only imagine how crazy it can get as a DJ. Im sure you will do great wherever you go. I will have 10 shows I can archive on MixCloud, those will be part of the 10 I leave up.

It will be good, things are rock solid there as I have been multi-streaming to Twitch for months and Kick more recently but both platforms have been rock solid!! Especially Twitch.

Instead of putting social links, I actually put the links of 4 DJs on Twitch there for you!
On Twitch there's an option of suggested channels to visit if someone is offline. Very handy!
