Lee Bowen is lead singer of Proscenium a 6 piece Symphonic Operatic Power Metal band from Cardiff (UK). The band was formed in 2012. Their first single The Hangman released in January 2015 is played at the end of the interview.
Combining elements of intense power metal guitar riffs with the elegance and complexity of symphonic backing, Proscenium top off their signature sound with front man Lee Bowen's soaring operatic vocals infused with a dark, classic Metal influence.
Proscenium are currently working on their first EP titled Midnight Aria, a wonderful collection of intertwined tales. Taking the theatricality of the stage and combining it with Symphonic Power Metal backing, Proscenium are looking to achieve a unique sounding album that will take the listener on an adventure through the dreaded Pantomime and before The Hangman himself.
The band will be touring shortly and appear in Brighton on Nov 12th.
