"When I started DJing, making chilled, slung-back mixes to unwind to was all I ever wanted to do. I fell in love with the storytelling aspect of changing energies and mood just with good track selection. Then I discovered the Late Night Tales series, which was a total game-changer for me and that set the standard of where I wanted to be.
Most of the time when I mix, it’s at parties or in clubs, which is totally different to creating a mixtape. So when Pollination got in touch and asked me to put together a mixtape that wasn’t dance oriented, I was thrilled to have an opportunity to go back to my roots as a DJ on a platform that wanted to showcase this often forgotten side of DJing - only this time, I could use some of the tricks I’ve learned from playing clubs to raise my game.
A lot of the tracks I chose for this mix are the ones I love to play late at night at the end of a long dance set. Tracks to listen to and feel."
