Wonderful was that first eukaryote, the one to absorb the photosynthetic cyanobacteria that once lived alone. In so doing, it set forth the great chain of multicellular life that we now see (disappearing) before our privileged eyes. This is a tribute to the bajillions of plants that make life as a big ol'heterotrope like me a realistic possibility and make the whole life system of this planet function. Your ability to generate from air, grow mass from gas, is true magic. Like, right up there with electro-magnetism!!
Reverence of the Plant presented as 70 minutes of mixed music. Engaging and meandering, pleasant and edgy, fun and, at times, acidy, it's a worthwhile romp.

Haha! I think Campbell River's most famous people are Roderick Haig-Brown and Rod Brind'amour (colloquial namesake of our local arena 'The Brindy'). ... So I must be from Detroit. Nah, I grew up in the Okanagan. A wee different. First party was 1998 at Kelowna Curling Club : P
