On May 19, 2019, I recorded my last mix. Then, life took over and the decks gathered dust. Turning 35 next week, I needed to process the most intense chapter of my existence—and the only way to articulate it was to return to this long-lost medium of expression.
In Jan 2023, my family took a one-way flight from Miami to Ireland. My wife had roots waiting; for me, it was uncharted territory. The only piece of my old life I kept was my remote job. Sitting at a screen in an unfamiliar world, this move forced a total reclamation of my identity.
It broke my addiction to instant convenience. I learned the art of waiting, trading a hollow rush for a quiet quality of life, support, and community—giving our kids a grounded childhood.
This 35-track set maps that 3-year inner journey across a 7-part psychological arc: from culture shock and the daily grind, to completely falling in love with my new home. Made for myself, but shared for the lucky few.
