For Quantum Jolly show no. 27 I’ve invited my biological techno mother to once again jump in the quantum bowl. Recorded very improvisedly after a night of no sleep, she has delivered a succulent mix, enjoyable from the very first transient. In her classic Mamma style she gently, yet nonchalantly pushes us down the vibe-slide through dreamy bubblegum pop, off to cosmic, emo tek-trance, down to the primordial jersey club soup and favela funk, doom dancehall, clairvoyant techno, bitchy electro, loved-up jungle techno, slick tension and release. It’s big, emotional forest rave beats, hard, in-your-face grooves as well as the delicate, subtle. Big ups to Blood Rave and Mitzi for having this.
