DJ Africathy aka “Mama Put” has been setting up her musical food stall at venues across London and beyond since the mid-nineties to “put more” great African music out there for people to taste, enjoy, revisit. The aim is to make you dance and move you across boundaries – spiritual and mental as well as geographical and physical, by setting out the rich diversity of musical styles and trends across the African continent and in the global diaspora.
