Some stories talked about on tonight's show were:
1. The attorney for convicted fraudster Martin Shkreli says his client is doing "fine" after he was sentenced to seven years in prison. Ben Brafman had asked the judge for a sentence of 18 months or less.
2. Jurors in the bribery trial of a former top aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo have gone home for the weekend after a sometimes rocky week of deliberations. They're due to continue Monday.
3. A member of a violent Mexico-based drug cartel who specialized in improving the quality of methamphetamine will spend 10 years in a U.S. prison. U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue says Jose Dagoberto Cortez-Perez was sentenced Friday in Brooklyn.
