The first major venue loss to COVID-19 in Washington, D.C. was the venerable Eighteenth Street Lounge. Facing an indefinite freeze on the entertainment industry at the same time as the renewal of their lease, they made the only reasonable choice to hang it up, after 25 years in the game.
